The Latin American Studies Department will offer a workshop for Tinker applicants & Competition for Foreign Language Area Studies Fellowships FLAS Fellowships. on Friday, February 15th & 22nd from 12-2pm, Harvill Building, room 335 The workshop will cover "How to Write a Successful Tinker Proposal," and will briefly cover Human Subjects issues.  Time will be provided for specific questions as well.  Students are highly encouraged to attend as this will be the only information session for applicants.

The Center for Latin American Studies (CLAS) at The University Of Arizona is pleased to announce its 2011 Competition for Foreign Language Area Studies Fellowships FLAS Fellowships.  FLAS Fellowships support the study of Portuguese and Indigenous Languages of Latin America.  CLAS is now accepting applications for Summer 2013 and nominations for Academic Year (AY) 2013-2014 Fellowships.
