In The Americas with David Yetman

New HDTelevision Series for PBS

Eleven thousand miles separate the North Pole from the tip of Tierra del Fuego in Chile. The Americas occupy the space to each side of a line connecting the two.  In the Americas with David Yetman will take a fresh look at the lands that make up much of the Western Hemisphere. Each country contains landscapes, peoples, and history that have not received the attention they deserve on the world stage.

In the Americas undertakes a new approach to travel and adventure—with a decided bias in favor of our western continents and islands. So come along and visit new places, meet new people and encounter new ideas with host David Yetman.

The Emmy Award-Winning Team of producer/director, Dan Duncan and television host and writer David Yetman from the PBS series “The Desert Speaks.” have produced over seventy documentaries on Latin America.  Their efforts have accounted for many awards including 25 Rocky Mountain Emmy Awards.
