Join LAS and Graduate students from around the University of Arizon for the 13th Annual Tinker Symposium on Thursday, November 9th. The symposium will begin and 8am with introduction for Dean JP Jones of SBS and Dr. Marcela Vásquez-León, Director of LAS, and will run all day until 4:30pm.
The Symposium will feature presentation from 15 different graduate students who completed field research in Latin American during the Summer of 2017.
To conclude the Tinker Symposium, Dr. Andrew Rajca will give a keynote address from 4:30-6pm followed by a reception. The keynote is titled, "The Subjects of Human Rights: Politics and Aesthetics at Memory Sites in Argentina and Brazil."
