Journalism produced through the use of multimedia can help to create richer, ground-truth narratives about the U.S.-Mexico borderlands, Latinxs in the U.S., and Latin America. UA alumni expert panelists will discuss the possibilities of multimedia storytelling forms and their place in today's journalistic coverage.

Luis Carlos Davis
Director/producer and Media Specialist
Luis Carlos Davis is an award winning director/producer. His film projects have been exhibited in Mexico, the U.S, Chile, Colombia, and Europe. He holds an M.A. in Latin American Studies and Ph.D. in Teaching, Learning & Sociocultural Studies from from the UA.

April Lanuza
Digital Producer at CGTN America
A Digital Producer for CGTN America, April Lanuza is a multimedia journalist currently based in Washington, D.C. She graduated from UA with a dual masters In journalism and Latin American studies.

Murphy Woodhouse
KJZZ, Senior Field Correspondent
Before joining the station, Murphy Woodhouse was a reporter at the Arizona Daily Star and the Nogales International. He has a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Montana and an M.A. in Latin American Studies from the UA.
