Art, Resistance, and Survival

If you're in town for Spring break, LAS recommends you check out this great event at the Tucson Festival of Books, sponsored by the UA Institute for LGBT Studies. Playwright and performance artist Virginia Grise joins poet Vickie Vertiz for a dynamic discussion on resistance and survival—both on the personal, day-to-day, level and in a broader sense as individuals situated within systems and cultures of oppression.

Event will held on Saturday, March 10 at the Social and Behavioral Sciences Tent (# 150) just south of the Student Union on the UA Mall and will run from 2.30-3.30.
