Building Peace, Sustainability, and Hope in War-Torn Colombia: The award-winning work of Sembrandopaz

The Center for Latin American Studies' Friday lecture series, Charlas con Café, continues on February 23rd. Ricardo Esquiva Ballestas, will speak on  Asociación Sembrando Semillas de Paz (The Sowing Seeds of Peace Association), better known as Sembrandopaz, is a nonprofit civil entity, legally founded in 2005, but with an accumulation of nearly twenty years of social work—a legacy left by JUSTAPAZ. Sembrandopaz is dedicated to facilitating the construction of a culture of peace building capacity among grassroots organizations, with the goal of supporting processes of integral and sustainable human development within the populations of the Caribbean region in Colombia The Charla will be held in Marshall Buidling, Room 212 from 1-2pm on Friday, February 23rd. As always, coffee and snacks will be served!
