Charlas Con Cafe: Democratization and Memories of Violence: Ethnic Minority Social Movements in Mexico, Turkey, and El Salvador

The Center for Latin American Studies' Friday lecture series, Charlas con Café, kicks off on January 19th. Mneesha Gellman, an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Emerson College, starts us off this year with a talk about ethnic minority social movements, including heritage language learning, across countries in Latin America and elsewhere. The lecture, "Democratization and Memories of Violence: Ethnic Minority Social Movements in Mexico, Turkey, and El Salvador" will be held in Marshall 212 from 1-2 on Friday, January 19th. As always, coffee and snacks will be served!
