Community College Curriculum Internationalization Competence

The University of Arizona Centers for Latin American Studies (LAS), Middle Eastern Studies (CMES), and Educational Resources in Culture, Language and Literacy (CERCLL) present: 

A Community College Educators’ Workshop: “Internationalizing the Curriculum: The Role of Intercultural Competence”

(in conjunction with the national-level conference put on by CERCLL)

This year CMES and LAS are working in conjunction with CERCLL, helping to establish a community college-focused strand within the Seventh International Conference on the Development and Assessment of Intercultural Competence. The entire conference is well worth attending, but sessions on Saturday, January 25 and the workshop on Sunday morning, January 26 are specifically by and for community college educators. 

 

Funding opportunity: LAS,CMES and CERCLL are providing some scholarships for Arizona and New Mexico community college educators to attend the conference, funding a 1-night (Saturday) hotel stay in the conference venue (Loew's Ventana Canyon Resort)  and the registration fees for Saturday and the Sunday morning workshop.
