Documentary Film Screening of

The U Turn: A Transformational Journey

Q& A after the screening with Filmmaker Luis Argueta

The film narrates the transformational journey of the immigrant workers who broke the silence about the abuses they endured at the Agriprocessor meatpacking plant in Postville, Iowa and the community they would not abandon them. The film showcases the U-Visa, an immigration relief part of the VAWA (Violence Against Women Act) in much need dissemination and understanding by immigrant workers, immigration right advocate and law-enforcement.
