Oscar J. Martinez is a UA Regents' Professor of History. His most recent publication is Stunted Dreams:  How the United States Shaped Mexico’s Destiny (2017). Other works include "Mexico’s Uneven Development:  The Geographic and Historical Context of Inequality " (2016), and "Ciudad Juárez: Saga of a Legendary City" (forthcoming 2018).
