The University of Arizona Center for Latin American Studies Presents Victoria Kline “Transnational Families in Limbo: The Dilemma when Child Welfare and Immigration Law Intersect”
Who: Victoria Kline, MSW, is coordinator of IMUMI’s Transnational Family Support Project, and author of the recent report, “Where Do We Go From Here? Challenges for transnational migrant families between the US and Mexico.” Ms. Kline works in Mexico, and has conducted on-the-ground investigations of the complex issues facing families separated due to deportation, both in Mexico and in border states. She has testified in Congressional hearings on the subject and has spoken to multiple social service providers and immigration experts throughout the country.
