 "Contemporary History of Grupo Mexico/ASARCO Miners in the U.S./Mexico Border Region"

Ericka Wills to discuss gender, labor and mining in Sonora, Mexico.  Friday Sept. 4th, 12noon, Student Union Mesquite room.

 

Ericka Wills is a Union Labor Educator and an Adjunct Professor of Labor Studies

at Los Angeles Trade-Technical College.

 

She has taught for the United Steelworkers of North America,

the National Mine and Metal Workers Union of Mexico (Los Mineros),

the Rocky Mountain Region of the AFL-CIO,

and other union and community-based groups.

 

She will be defending her PhD dissertation

“Fuel the Flames of Discontent: Contemporary Labor Literature and Social Movements”

in Fall 2015.
