K-12 eduactors learn capoeira during a January 2016 workshop
The Center for Latin American Studies at the University of Arizona offers annual workshops for K-12 teachers. During each session, a group of educators interested in Latin America meet to explore specific topics related to the region. Workshops can be put towards professional credits and certifications, and include presentations from university faculty and community experts, interactive activities, and dialogues to discuss the ways to incorporate such information into the K-12 curriculum. Please contact Clea Conlin for information about upcoming workshops: email@example.com.
