Jaycee Ramanousky

M.A. Latin American Studies

Jaycee Ramanousky graduated from the University of Arizona in Spring 2022, earning her Bachelor of Arts double majoring in Global Studies with a thematic emphasis in human rights and Latin American Studies with minors in Spanish and Government and Public Policy. Ms. Ramanousky also was an inaugural recipient of the Central American Studies certificate in Spring 2022 from the University of Arizona. She is also an alumni of Phi Beta Kappa Academic Honor Society. Ms. Ramanousky has completed various internships with human rights organizations such as Casa de Mali in Barcelona, Spain as well as Casa Alitas in Tucson, Arizona. These experiences drive her to study the intersection of human rights, violence and social issues in Central America. 

Ms. Ramanousky is also very active outside of her studies. She is a member and treasurer of Grupo Folklorico Miztontli as well as a member of Ballet Folklorico Alexa Zozaya. Giving her opportunities to explore and present Mexican culture and dance throughout the US, Mexico and even as far as Colombia.
