Maddie is a dual degree student pursuing a J.D. with a focus in international law at the James E. Rogers College of Law concurrently with her M.A. in Latin American Studies. After graduating from Baylor University, Maddie worked for the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean and the U.S. Department of State. She has also worked for the Executive Office for Immigration Review at the Department of Justice. Her research interests lie within immigration law, human rights, and U.S./Brazil relations. She expects to graduate in December of 2018.
