Zazil-xa received her BA from the University of Arizona’s Center for Latin American Studies in 2016. Later that year, she went on to pursue her Masters in Library and Information Science, during which time she served as a graduate assistant at the University of Arizona Special Collections. Since starting at the University of Arizona, Zazil-xa has interned with the SGD Community and School Garden Workshop Program, Pima Community College Libraries, and National Public Radio. She is an audiophile and spends her free time collecting audio samples and oral histories.
