6th Annual Community College Conference: "Internationalizing Your Community College Curriculum"

When

3 to 6 p.m., Jan. 21 to 22, 2022

The University of Arizona’s Center for Middle Eastern Studies (CMES), Center for Latin American Studies (CLAS), and Center for Educational Research in Culture, Language, and Literacy (CERCLL) invite you to join us for the 6th Annual Community College Conference, “Internationalizing Your Community College Curriculum,” January 21st-22nd, 2022 via Zoom! Community Colleges are doing important work educating a large percentage of post-secondary students to become part of a globalized world. As such, it is vital to internationalize the curricula of community college classes. Many instructors are already doing so. This is an opportunity to learn and to share with colleagues across community college departments and campuses how you internationalize your curriculum, and how you intend to move forward with internationalizing the curriculum in the near future. As one of the few conferences in the Southwest designed specifically for Community College faculty, this is a wonderful opportunity for you to teach and learn from each other. We have speakers from all over the country, and we look forward to discovering the great ways they incorporate learning about the world into their curriculums. We anticipate interesting conversations in the breakout rooms, and hope you will join us.
