Celebrate with us the cultural tradition of the Mexican corrido, “la voz del pueblo,” and help us raise funds for Fundación México/Raquel Rubio Goldsmith Immigrant Endowment that funds scholarships for Mexican immigrant students at Pima Community College. Contest Guidelines
- Cash prizes for winners
- Limited to 15 participants
- One entry per participant
- Original or interpretation of a traditional corrido
- In Spanish or bilingual (but primarily Spanish)
- Any topic except drug trafficking and violence
- Purchase tickets at MSA Annex
- Must submit copy of lyrics
- All ages welcome
- Judges’ decisions are final
