With grant money from the Tinker Foundation, The University of Arizona funded 14 graduate students from numerous department to conduct field research in Latin America this past summer. Students from 10 different departments across the UA traveled to Chile, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Panama, Costa Rica and Paraguay to conduct their research.

We invite the University and Tucson community to come and listen to their experiences and the outcomes of their research on October 24 at the Student Union, Kachina Lounge.

The symposium will be broken out in student panels, followed by a special keynote presentation by Irma A. Velásquez Nimatuj, Ph.D.
