Jay Gandolfi

Professor, Emeritus – College of Pharmacy

Dr. Gandolfi's research interests are in the molecular and cellular mechanisms of toxicity. Current studies concentrate on the use of in vitro systems to evaluate cell specific injury. Specific studies examine the effects of low-level metal exposure on cell signaling and gene expression and the development of in vitro models to reflect in vivo toxicity. Tissues of interest are the liver, kidney, bladder and prostate.
